Packing is the part of a move that eats every evening for weeks beforehand. Handing it to people who box a kitchen every day turns that stretch into a single afternoon.

Packing and Unpacking Services

Full-service packing

The packing crew usually comes the day before a house move, or the morning of for a smaller apartment. They work room by room, wrap fragile items in paper, fill each box to the top so nothing shifts, and label every carton with its destination room.

By the time the loading crew arrives the next day, the home is already boxed and stacked, so the hours on the clock go to carrying rather than waiting on cardboard.

Materials matched to the valley

Santa Clarita summers are dry and dusty, especially near the hillside streets in Canyon Country, and a truck can sit in direct sun for hours during a long-distance load. Grocery-store boxes soften and crush under those conditions.

We use double-walled dish barrels, wardrobe boxes so clothes stay on the hanger, and picture cartons for framed art, all rated for stacking and for a hot trailer.

Partial packing for the rooms that matter most

Many households pack their own linens, books, and garage shelving and hire us just for the kitchen, the china cabinet, and the artwork. That keeps the job affordable while putting the breakable items in trained hands.

Tell the estimator which rooms you want covered and the quote is built around exactly that, with nothing added that you did not ask for.

Unpacking at the new place

Unpacking means the crew empties cartons onto counters and into closets, reassembles beds and tables, and takes every flattened box and sheet of paper away with them. The house looks lived in by dinner instead of two weeks later.

Anything you would rather unpack yourself, like paperwork or a home office, is simply set aside in the room you point to and left alone.

Electronics and heat-sensitive items

Televisions and computer setups are photographed before cables come out, then wrapped and boxed with cords bagged and labeled so reconnecting them at the new place is fast rather than guesswork. Candles, vinyl, cosmetics, and houseplants are packed separately and loaded last so they spend the least time in a hot trailer.

On a summer move we usually suggest carrying the most heat-sensitive items in your own car rather than the truck, and we will point out which ones during the walk-through.
